Amazing versatility and function

I'm a long time Ridge wallet carrier and recently upgraded to a new phone with Qi2 technology (aka Pixelsnap or MagSafe). The Ridge MagSafe Cardholder integrates perfectly with this tech in a very sharp looking minimalist package. The magnets are nice and strong to ensure perfect alignment and prevent accidental disconnecting. The grippy silicone on the magnet surfaces really helps to keep it firmly locked in place, even on a slippery phone case. My cards are accessible, especially after a little breaking in, but they will never accidentally fall out.

I love that I can keep my most used cards in there for fast access. As an added bonus the Ridge MagSafe Cardholder easily and firmly attaches to my MagSafe Ridge Wallet when not on my phone. Overall, it is a great addition to my EDC. It works great, looks great, and I would definitely recommend it as a purchase.

Perfect upgrade to match my phone

I've been carrying my Ridge carbon for a number of years now and I love it. With the growing prominence of Apple MagSafe and now Google Pixelsnap, the option to snap a minimalist wallet to the back of your phone is now an expected convenience. Thanks to these new plates, my existing Ridge can keep up with the times and remain my favorite minimalist EDC wallet. Also, the fresh plates make it look brand new again.

Keep in mind that it does stay in place a lot better with the strengthening tray and that the tray is mounted with adhesive. It does add some thickness to the case or device and will likely cover the kickstand if your case has one. That being said, it does work well enough without the tray for a shopping run.

As an added bonus, the Ridge cardholder easily and firmly attaches to my new wallet plate when it's not on my phone. Overall, these plates make my Ridge much more versatile and relevant. Given the fact that Qi2 technology is here to stay and sure to spread, this is definitely a recommended upgrade, unless you really just want to buy a whole new wallet

Fantastic Buy!

I wanted the ability to both take advantage of my new magsafe phone case and change up the look of my Ridge wallet. These plates gave me ability to do both. Switching between the plates is easy and Ridge sent new elastic, new money strap, extra screws, and a screwdriver with the plates. I love it. Thank you, Ridge!

Warming up

So I have had the same wallet for the last 11 years or so and I was not looking to change, I am a creature of habit. In fact I hardly ever carry it with me I generally leave it in the car since it has my drivers license and now your CC is on you phone and I hardly ever carry cash. I also hate sitting on my wallet. I am going to Paris in a few weeks and I have heard about the large number of pick pockets so my wife suggested me carrying it with me in a different way. I saw the Ridge wallet and the RFID and the option for the MagSafe wallet so I looked in to it. Based off the reviews on YouTube they were definitely mixed. First off I have always had my iPhone in a drop proof/water proof case ie: (LifeProof/OtterBox) so if you are looking for a MagSafe option with a case and not using the additional plate they give you for strengthening the attachment this is not the wallet for you. The magnet is not strong enough with the case in between and I didn't take it out of the case to see how it worked without the case. I have no problem with adding the plate to the back of my phone case and the wallet locks on just fine and is very well secured and it still charges with my MagSafe wireless charger.

Regarding the actual wallet, I orgianally purchased the Base Camp Orange but after I got the GT Suitcase I realized I needed the wallet to match so I exchanged it. It was one of the easiest exchanges I have ever done so customer service was fantastic. I also added the Ridge…
